Roberts discusses installing the first electrical plant in Bend, serving as the first police chief, the rough character of Bond Street in early Bend days, a shootout on Bond street, serving as county sheriff, the murder of Old Man Krug near Sisters, the Lava Lake murders and his theory on who the murderer was.
