Fifteen minute oral history with Addie Triplett, who first arrived in Central Oregon to homestead with her husband in 1902. After homesteading on the Deschutes River south of Bend for two years, the Triplett family moved into Bend in 1904. Addie discusses trials and travails of building their homestead in the woods and early days in Bend.
